“Our flag doesn't fly because the wind moves it, but because of the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”
Memorial Day is designated as an annual day of remembrance to honor all those who have died in service to the United States during peace and war. The community of Calvary Baptist Church is forever thankful to those who gave their lives while serving and is keeping in prayer those who have lost someone they love.
Calvary Baptist Church will commemorate Memorial Day on Sunday, May 26, 2024, during both its zoom and in-person worship services. Pastor James Elliott will be Sunday's officiant and will provide a special message regarding America's fallen.
Please join us to honor all of our departed Veterans and the families of those who lost loved ones. We embrace in our hearts all veterans and welcome everyone to attend our Sunday, May 26th, 9:00 a.m. zoom service or our 10:30 a.m. in-person service. (Our 10:30 a.m. in-person service will be held outdoors - weather permitting. Light refreshments will be served.)
God bless America.
