The Season of Lent

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Thursday, leading into the Easter celebrations.  It is a 40-day period of reflection and preparation leading up to Easter.  These days mirror the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness before his ministry. 

We invite you to worship with us at Calvary Baptist Church during this Lenten season.  Together we will take this spiritual journey to deepen our relationship with God through self-denial and focusing on the true meaning of Jesus' suffering and eventual resurrection, allowing for a more profound celebration of Easter joy.

Lenton Worship Services

Lenten services are offered each Sunday during Lent - March 10th, March 16th, March 23rd, March 30th, and April 6th.  Please join us for either our 9:00 a.m. zoom service or our 10:30 a.m. in-person worship service.
