Pastor James is a New Jersey native being born and raised in Wildwood Crest, NJ. He came to personal faith in Jesus Christ at an evening service at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cape May County, NJ. Pastor James is a born again Christian with a heart for evangelism and a sincere desire to share Jesus the Savior with the world. He also has a heart for the poor and does his best to help God’s children with their daily bread and housing (“He who is gracious and lends a hand to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay their kindness.” (Proverbs 19:17).
Pastor James attended the Richard Stockton College of NJ where he earned B.A. degrees in both psychology and education. He also attended Palmer Seminary (previously Eastern Baptist) where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. Pastor James has a wonderful wife (Meredith), a beautiful 16-year-old daughter (Sonja) and two furry friends (Daphne and Jill). He enjoys running outdoors, physical exercise, birdwatching, and spending time with his family. Pastor James was blessed to join us at Calvary Baptist in October of 2022.
